All-In Diversity Project is planning a social media campaign for International Women’s Day and we’d like your involvement.
#IWD2019 is Friday, March 8 and the theme this year is #BalanceforBetter. (You can read more here: https://www.internationalwomensday.com/)
The future is exciting. Let’s build a gender-balanced world.
Everyone has a part to play – all the time, everywhere.
From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance. We notice its absence and celebrate its presence.
Balance drives a better working world. Let’s all help create a #BalanceforBetter.
Off the back of a successful ICE and building on our current momentum, we believe the theme and timings are right to promote this day across our industry.
The campaign will highlight people, programmes and campaigns in our industry that showcase success or support of gender parity in the workplace. We are asking our partners, media and advocates to participate all next week by using Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn to talk about programs or campaigns or people doing great work on this topic.
We’d ask that all posts tag All-In Diversity Project so that we can do a top 10 of our favourites at the end of every day. Our hope is to get at least 50 examples by Friday which is International Women’s Day. (Also be sure to include the hashtags: #IWD2019 #BalanceforBetter

For example: You might do a quick post about an advocate for diversity in your org., perhaps a campaign or program you’ve run over the last year that supports gender parity such as leadership training or a networking group, maybe just a quote or thought from you, your CEO, etc. Maybe your team just want to pose for a picture supporting balance (https://www.internationalwomensday.com/IWDgallery) AIDP will be posting stats from our last report, mentioning our programmes for 2019, and sharing out some great campaigns over the last year. THE MORE THE BETTER!
This is a great way to involve your internal teams in your support of D&I as well as engage the industry overall. If you have any questions about how to participate or what to post, feel free to reach out to us directly.
